Ronaldo’s fist-pump goes viral after ‘Siu’ chants reverberate
Al Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo has reacted to fans chanting his name during their match with Al Hazm on Thursday. The Portuguese ace watched from the stands as he served his suspension and gave a positive reaction when his name reverberated across the stadium.
Ronaldo was banned from the clash, which ended in a pulsating 4-4 draw, for an obscene gesture he made after scoring in their previous game. He was also fined 4190 British pounds, much of which will go towards reimbursing the amount that Al-Shabab spent to complain.

During the Al Hazm encounter, Ronaldo was in the stands to watch his side play. In the seventh minute, fans began chanting his trademark ‘Siu’ celebration. The 39-year-old responded by pumping his fist in the air, a reaction that quickly went viral on social media.
It was clear that the fans firmly stood by him and Ronaldo responded in acknowledgment too. He will return for their next fixture, against Al Ain, in the AFC Champions League quarter-final clash on Wednesday.
Ronaldo wasn’t missed but Al-Nassr draw
Even without Cristiano Ronaldo leading the line, Al-Nassr managed to score four times against Al Hazm. Talisca scored a hat-trick for the Knights of Najd whereas Sadio Mane netted a late penalty. But surprisingly enough, it wasn’t enough to win the game as the visitors also struck a quadruple of goals to ensure a stunning 4-4 draw.
