Another odd Cristiano Ronaldo statue has been spotted and now it’s in Germany. By now we have already seen the infamous bust of Cristiano Ronaldo in 2017 which was revealed at Madeira Airport in 2017. After loads of criticism, the artist Emanuel Santos got a chance to recreate the sculpture but no fans will ever forget the awful first version.
Now, a new sculpture has been spotted in Germany doing Ronaldo’s iconic ‘SIUU’ celebration which is constructed just from sand. Yes, it is made up of sand but it doesn’t resemble the slightest of the Portuguese legend.
What is the meaning of Cristiano Ronaldo’s iconic ‘SIUU’ celebration?
The Portugal legend has displayed a range of celebrations over the years with different clubs in Europe. For ten years now, Cristiano Ronaldo’s iconic celebration has become synonymous with him.
The first sight ‘Siu’ celebration was noticed when Ronaldo won the 2014 Ballon d’Or with Real Madrid but his celebration has become a global phenomenon imitated by other footballers and other sports personalities.
He usually performs a 180-degree pirouette before screaming “siu” which means “yes” in Spanish upon landing. His teammates and fans often join in to create a roaring sound around the stadium.
