Crystal Palace vs Liverpool Preview

  • Tournament: Premier League
  • Date: Saturday, Oct 5
  • Kick-off Time: 12:30 pm GMT
  • Venue: Selhurst Park, England

League-leaders Liverpool will travel to Crystal Palace in their seventh game of the 2024/25 Premier League season at Selhurst Park. The Eagles are still eyeing for their first win of the season and will not get a worse chance than this tie.

Hosts Crystal Palace are one of the top mid-table squads in the Premier League and finished in the 10th spot last season. Oliver Glasner’s men are yet to secure their first win of the campaign and are languishing in the relegation zone. They would be desperate to get their first win on the board as they have been one of the most underwhelming teams this season.

Meanwhile, Liverpool sustained a 2-1 win over Wolves in their last game and leading the Premier League table by just a point. Their transfer plans this summer were severely affected by their strict transfer policy but they made a perfect start to the new campaign. Make no mistake about it, Liverpool under Arne Slot is here to challenge for the Premier League title this season.

The Eagles ended their previous campaign with six wins in seven matches under new manager Oliver Glasner but had a tough start to the new campaign.
