David Beckham reacts to Manchester United’s FA Cup final win

Manchester United stunned the world when they surprisingly defeated Manchester City in the FA Cup final at Wembley. For every single United fan out there, the euphoria is inevitable, including for the former player David Beckham.

The current co-owner of MLS side Inter Miami could not hold his feeling when posted an Instagram Story showcasing United’s two goal scorers in the game. Beckham posted the image of Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo celebrating a goal.

David Beckham praised the Carrington-made youngsters

From what it appears on Beckham’s post, the celebration was not from the current FA Cup final. But still, the message was delivered as the husband of Victoria put a caption saying ‘straight from our academy’.

Beckham, Garnacho, and Mainoo are all the products of United’s youth development. However, only Maino who is ever recorded started everything from Carrington.

Beckham joined the youth team of Tottenham Hotspur at the age of 16 before heading to United one year later. Meanwhile, Garnacho was also 16 years old when joining Atletico Madrid’s youth system before moving to Manchester nine months later.

For Mainoo and Garnacho, today’s triumph was their first ever FA Cup trophy. Both still have to win another one to match Beckham’s record of two FA Cup trophies.
