In a match where Man City had to secure three points to keep themselves in the title race, midfield maestro Kevin de Bruyne stepped up for the Manchester club and scored two absolutely stunning goals for Man City and led them to a 2-4 victory away from home on Matchday 32. 

The first Kevin de Bruyne goal came in the 12th minute for City as the club trailed 1-0 to the Eagles. Grealish dribbled past his man out wide and found the Belgian midfielder in the box. Avoiding challenges de Bruyne carved himself up a difficult angle from out wide and unleashed an absolute belter of a shot on goal. The ball with all the pace on it found its way past the goalkeeper into the top corner on the right.

However, the second goal was the goal which put the nail in the Eagles’ coffin. Entering the box in an attempt to overload the Palace defense, De Bruyne received the ball from Rodri on his weaker foot. Without missing a beat or taking extra touches, the Belgian shot the ball on goal with his left foot and found the back of the net. An absolute stunner which saw City win 2-4.  The goal is also special as with it de Bruyne reaches 100 goals from the midfield for Man City. 

Man City comeback from behind to win a thriller:

City seemed to arrive at Selhurst Park on battery saving mode ahead of their midweek UEFA Champions League tie as the side looked rusty in the initial minutes of the game. Palace took advantage of the disjointed Man City and scored only three minutes into the game. 

However, with the goal the reigning English champions seemed to wake up from their slumber and an astonishing De Bruyne goal saw City quickly equalize in the 12th minute. From thereon, it was a one sided battle as City bullied the hosts and kept creating chances. Just after halftime, City scored yet again through Rico Lewis and took a 1-2 lead in the game. The Norwegian bully and the most lethal striker in the Premier League, Erling Haaland also found the back of the net as City led 1-3 through his goal.

However, Man City weren’t done yet as Kevin de Bruyne decided to mark his name on the scoresheet yet again. This time, the midfield sensation scored with his left foot. The goal will forever remain special to the Belgian as with it De Bruyne reaches 100 goals for City. Talk about mastery!
