Early Life
Endrick grew up with one brother and two sisters in a big family, while his father, Douglas de Sousa Silva Ramos, aspired to become a professional footballer and left the family to play for several small clubs in Brasília when Endrick was eleven. During this phase, his unemployed and homeless mother forced Endrick and his siblings to live in an orphanage. However, their father returned six months later and both parents eventually found work at a café. Above all, His father secured a job as a janitor with Palmeiras down the line that would be life-changing.
Football was introduced to Endrick at the age of four and his father involved by sharing the videos of his goals on YouTube to attract attention from major Brazilian clubs. Motivated by his family’s struggles and his parent’s inability to provide a meal, Endrick vowed to become a professional footballer to support them. At eight years old, he trained at a Real Madrid camp in Águas Claras with his friends. A lifelong supporter of Real Madrid, he idolized Cristiano Ronaldo and was inspired by other Brazilian players who played for the club, including Ronaldo, Vinícius Jr., Rodrygo, and Éder Militão.

Club Career
Palmeiras
After nearly making a deal São Paulo, Endrick joined Palmeiras’ youth team. During his five-year stay, he scored an impressive 165 goals in 169 games. In 2022, he played in the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior and netted eight goals in seven matches, voted Player of the Tournament by supporters. Palmeiras also lifted their first title in the competition that year. This performance attracted significant attention from international media and European clubs.
Endrick senior professional debut came in October 2022, as a second-half substitute in Palmeiras’ 4-0 league victory over Coritiba. At 16 years, he became the youngest player to appear for Palmeiras’ first team. His first two goals came a few weeks later in a 3-1 win over Athletico Paranaense and became the second youngest goalscorer in the history of Brazil’s league.
English newspaper The Guardian named Endrick as one of the best footballing talents born in 2006 worldwide. Despite an extensive goal drought throughout the season, he ended the season with eleven goals, the second-highest number scored in a Serie A season by an under-18 player, behind Ronaldo.
Real Madrid
La Liga giants Real Madrid announced an agreement with Endrick, and his family to sign him in July 2024, when he turns 18. Although the official signing fee is wrapped up, it was reported as an extendable three-year deal for a fixed amount of €60 million plus €12 million in taxes. Other sources indicated the fee was fixed at €35 million, with an additional €25 million contingent on achieving specific sporting objectives.

International Career
Youth
Endrick was called up to Brazil’s under-17 team in March 2022 for the Montaigu Tournament in France, where he finished as top scorer with five goals in four matches, including a goal against Argentina in the final. These stats earned him the best player of the tournament as Brazil claimed their first Montaigu Tournament title since 1984.
Senior
The first senior call-up came for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Colombia and Argentina, making him the youngest male player to be called up since Ronaldo in 1994. Endrick became the fourth youngest player, and the youngest in 57 years, to debut for Brazil.
Endrick scored his first senior goal for Brazil in a friendly against England at Wembley Stadium on 23 March 2024, becoming the youngest player to score at the venue for club or country.
The youngster will represent Brazil’s national under-23 team for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris and also play the Copa America 2024.
