The 18-year-old signed for a hefty fee of 47.50 million Euros from Palmeiras.
This summer, Real Madrid made the best buys for their forward line in Europe. Besides signing their long-time target Kylian Mbappe, the Spanish giants also lured one of the most sensational prospects in the striker zone, Brazil’s wonderkid Endrick. The 18-year-old Brazilian signed for a hefty fee of 47.50 million Euros from Palmeiras.
The youngster came to the limelight for his extraordinary skills, electric skills, goal-scoring habit, and obviously the Samba flair. Just after joining, Endrick became a part of the Real Madrid line-up for the pre-season friendlies. However, he is yet to debut for any official game.
Endrick was unveiled as a Los Blancos player in front of a huge Santiago Bernabeu crowd. He revealed that Real Madrid has been his dream club, and his dream became a reality when he joined as a part of them. He hasn’t yet made an official debut, but it’s just the start of the season.
However, it is not going to be easy for the teenager to find a spot for himself amongst the likes of star players like Vinicius Jr., Kylian Mbappe, and Rodrygo. He is expected to get a lot less minutes than desired. But, one can surely speculate that Carlo Ancellotti might field him for the less tough ties to give enough rest to already established players like Mbappe and Vinicius.
If Endrick is not given ample minutes, he has already decided the steps to be taken. As per reports in the Spanish outlet AS, the player would be an active participant for now, but if he fails to get enough breakthroughs, he might decide to go to some other clubs and play, but on loan deals from Real Madrid.
Endrick must not feel low about not being the first-choice and should realize that he’s only a teenager and stars like Vinicius were also his age when they joined the La Liga champs. He should be advised to have patience and earn his spot.
