Everton vs Brentford Preview, Prediction and Betting Tips | Premier League

Everton vs Brentford Match Preview

Everton vs Brentford will take place at Goodison Park in the Premier League as the 15th and 16th-placed sides are ready to face each other on April 27.

The Toffees will enter this game on the back of a decent run of form, which they have revived over the last four games. With three losses and two draws prior to this, Everton have now recorded three wins and one defeat in their last three games as they navigate an upturn in form. Having won against Burnley and Nottingham Forest, both teams near them in the table, they defeated city rivals Liverpool 2-0 in their last outing and will look to carry that form into the next one.

The Bees, on the other hand, are going through a positive change in form of their own. Having lost against Arsenal and Burnley at the beginning of March, Thomas Frank’s men have since gone unbeaten in five games, securing three draws and two wins. They defeated Sheffield United 2-0 before smashing Luton Town 5-1 in their last game. Sat nine points above the relegation zone, a win here would all but confirm their survival in the Premier League for next season.

Having said that, let’s take a look at the team news coming out of both camps.

Everton vs Brentford Team News

Everton

Manager Dyche will be without a few of his players for the upcoming game. Long-term absentees Nathan Patterson (hamstring) and Dele Alli (muscle tear) will definitely miss this game, with no set return date revealed for either.

Seamus Coleman and Lewis Dobbin missed the last game through injuries and will be assessed ahead of the next one to see if they can make the squad. Beto came off the bench in the second half but was subbed off after facing discomfort towards the end of the game.

James Tarkowski (9) faces the risk of being suspended for two games should he pick up another booking.

Everton vs Brentford Prediction

Considering the form these two sides are in, this game could go down to the wire since both teams will be desperate to register a win. This could also lead to high-scoring games as both managers will look to finish their respective seasons on a flourish. However, the Toffees are a force to be reckoned with at home and will use their support to see themselves over the finish line.

Prediction: Everton 3-2 Brentford.
