Luton Town’s struggle against relegation is compounded by an ongoing FPL injury crisis, with manager Edwards facing the prospect of missing seven more players for Friday’s match against Everton. Tom Lockyer, who recently experienced a cardiac arrest, adds to their woes. Additionally, Issa Kabore, Marvelous Nakamba, Jacob Brown, Amari’i Bell, Dan Potts, and Chiedozie Ogbene are sidelined. Edwards must carefully assess Mads Andersen’s calf issue before deciding on his involvement.

However, there’s a glimmer of hope as striker Elijah Adebayo returned from a hamstring injury, featuring for 12 minutes in their last game. He’s likely to be considered for a starting role.

On the Everton side, the medical team is grappling with several new injuries. Vitaliy Mykolenko is ruled out for the rest of the season due to an ankle problem sustained against Liverpool. Nathan Patterson and Dele Alli are also sidelined with thigh and groin issues respectively. Beto is recovering from a head injury but is expected to return soon.

Seamus Coleman, Lewis Dobbin, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin are doubtful for the upcoming match, with Calvert-Lewin having a chance to feature. Everton, having secured survival, will likely be cautious in their approach.
