In a bid to fortify their defensive lineup, Liverpool have identified Portuguese international Goncalo Inacio as their primary target, according to an exclusive report from Caught Offside. The Reds are reportedly poised to make significant moves in the transfer market this month, with Inacio emerging as a key figure on their wishlist.

Caught Offside’s sources suggest that while Sporting CP aims to retain their prized asset, Liverpool could take advantage of Inacio’s £51.6 million (60 million euros) exit clause. Diario de Noticias, in its latest edition, affirms that Inacio may be available for a winter transfer if the termination clause is activated.

Both Liverpool and Sporting CP currently top their respective leagues and are keen on retaining their star players during this transfer window.
