The latest edition of UEFA Nations League will feature 54 teams, divided into four leagues according to their international rankings. Leagues A, B, and C will each have four groups of four teams, while League D will consist of two groups, each with three teams.
Teams will face off against every other team in their group twice—once at home and once away.
Portugal, led by Cristiano Ronaldo, finds itself in Group A1 alongside Croatia, Scotland, and Poland.
Germany, the host of EURO 2024, will embark on a new chapter post-Toni Kroos, competing in Group A3 with the Netherlands, Hungary, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Meanwhile, Spain, coming off its recent continental success, will face Serbia, Denmark, and Switzerland in Group A4.
Spain triumphed in the previous UEFA Nations League, defeating Croatia on penalties in the 2023 final.
