The Netherlands team did everything possible to score, they kept playing a possession game and were creating chances from left to right but Hungary’s defenders and goalkeeper didn’t let them score. The game turned on its head when Virgil van Dijk was shown a red card for a bad foul on the Hungary player. The score was 1-0 until the 82nd minute, and just 4 minutes after the Netherlands went down to 10 men, Dumfries scored a header from a free kick to tie the game.
