Inter Milan eyes consecutive Serie A titles, the club also in contention for winning Champions League

Inter Milan had a very decent 2023-24 Serie A campaign. The club exceeded expectations by putting across 94 points on the table at the end after winning 29 out of their 38 games. They managed a gap of 19 points from second place and fierce rivals AC Milan. Now that itself stood as a major resemblance to the club’s dominance in the last season.

However, Inter Milan faltered to impress in the 2023-2024 Champions League‘s knock-out stages. The Italian club crashed out of the competition after facing defeat from Atletico Madrid in the round of 16. But, this time around the Inter can hope to go beyond in the European competition with the confidence of clinching the Serie A title bursting through their veins.

With players like Lautaro Martinez, Denzel Dumfries, and Nicolo Barella at their disposal, manager Simone Inzaghi will be hoping to replicate their last season’s success and potentially land their hands on consecutive Serie A titles. Qualifying for a Champions League final and winning it would be another major target for them. As per squad depth stands, Inter looks capable of doing so.

The Italian club added players like Marko Arnautovic, Carlos Augusto, Davide Fratessi, and Josep Martinez recently to the squad in the ongoing transfer window. Now they look really balanced and strong on paper, with maybe a few potential incomings still to take place. Leading into the new season a lot will also depend on how Simone Inzaghi utilizes his resources to bring the best out of them.
