Barcelona president Joan Laporta has made bold claims and stated he would not swap any of his players for the PSG stars. He added that the players were motivated and were focused on the PSG vs Barcelona UCL game.
Speaking to the Barcelona social media accounts, Laporta seemed confident ahead of the UEFA Champions League tie. He believes that they have a great team going into the match and was taking cheeky shots at PSG.

He went on to claim that all their players were better than the PSG players and said:
“I am prepared, fully prepared. I see the players very motivated and this motivates me. The message for our fans is to believe in our players and our coach. We have a great team. We are very focused and it is very important that they know I wouldn’t change any of our players for one from PSG.”
Kylian Mbappe is available for a free transfer this summer, but Xavi has already ruled out a move to the Catalan side. The Barcelona manager said that they are not in a financial situation to afford the Frenchman or Manchester City star Erling Haaland and said:
“Haaland or Mbappé? We can’t think of Haaland or Mbappe to join Barca now. We can’t afford these players, unfortunately. I’m happy with the players I have. We need to reach our best level as at this club we need to be always at top level.”

Josep Maria Minguella, a former agent of Lionel Messi, has previously claimed that Kylian Mbappe wanted to join Barcelona when he was at AS Monaco. He revealed that the asking price was set at €120 million with another €30 million in bonus, but the move was vetoed by then president Josep Bartomeu.
He said:
“It would have been €120 million plus €30m bonus. The boy only wanted to go to Barcelona when he learned that Neymar was leaving. He didn’t want to go to Paris or Madrid, who have their front three, he wanted to go there and nowhere else. But Barca were on Dembele, Dembele and Dembele, because a year earlier they had wanted to sign him for €15 million. I’ve nothing against Bartomeu, but he’s a disaster. These are the key moments. I fully understood that he didn’t want to go to Madrid or Paris. He’d have been mad with joy to play alongside Lionel Messi.”
Kylian Mbappe eventually joined PSG and is now linked with a move to Real Madrid this summer.
