Juventus set £25 million price tag for defender amid Liverpool interest

Juventus have reportedly set an asking price of £25 million on Dean Huijsen amid interest from Liverpool. The defender is rumored to be on their radar as the Reds look to make their first signings under new manager Arne Slot.

Among their prime targets for the summer is a centre-back as Joel Matip’s departure has made their options in that position thinner. They were reportedly chasing Leny Yoro, but Manchester United beat them to it.

However, Liverpool are said to have quite a few players on their list right now, including Antonio Silva, Piero Hincapie, and Huijsen. According to Football Insider, Juventus are willing to let go of Huijsen for about £25 million.

The 19-year-old rose to fame last season for his eye-catching displays whole on loan with AS Roma, playing 13 times in the Serie A following his move in January. He even bagged two goals in the process as the Giallorossi finished sixth in the league table.
