Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) superstar Kylian Mbappe has confirmed he plans to leave the club even if they reach the UEFA Champions League Final this season. Real Madrid have long been linked with securing the Frenchman’s services and the move could finally go through this summer.
Reports from French outlet Le Parisien have confirmed Mbappe’s wish.

Mbappe has been one of, if not the most important player on the Parisians’ roster since joining in a world record €222 million deal from AS Monaco in 2018. Since then, he has gone from strength to strength and is currently regarded as one of the best players in the world.
Having made 305 appearances for PSG, Kylian Mbappe has bagged a stunning 255 goals and has also provided 108 assists for his teammates, averaging well over one goal contributed per game. Now, he is eager to take the next big step in his career, with Real Madrid monitoring him.
Due to the complications involving another possible world-record fee, Mbappe decided to stay put in Paris and run his existing contract down. As a result, he will leave the club as a free agent in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Mbappe will join Los Blancos on a reported five-year deal in June 2024, and will be given the club’s prestigious number 10 jersey.
The Frenchman’s numbers this season
