In a dramatic turn of events, French football sensation Kylian Mbappe has reportedly agreed to join Real Madrid once his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires this summer. This revelation comes from reputable French transfer market expert Santi Aouna, via Footmercato, who states that an agreement was reached “a few days ago.”

Mbappe had previously extended his contract with PSG in 2022, garnering attention as he famously rejected Real Madrid’s advances. Despite being paraded at the Parc des Princes with a ‘Mbappe 2025’ jersey, the extension included an optional extra year, allowing the World Cup winner to explore potential suitors since January 1.

Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid – A Done Deal

The talented forward spoke on January 4 about his uncertain future but expressed immense motivation for the upcoming year. He emphasized the importance of pursuing titles and revealed that, despite not making a decision, an agreement made with the PSG President last summer ensured the protection of all parties and maintained the club’s serenity for future challenges.

Earlier reports from The Times suggested that Mbappe had turned down Madrid’s initial approach due to dissatisfaction with their offer and was now open to considering Premier League clubs.

However, according to Aouna and Footmercato, the Frenchman is set to become a Real Madrid player in July, marking a significant success for club president Florentino Perez on the third attempt.
