Kylian Mbappe receives advice from boss Carlo Ancelotti ahead of debut match

The UEFA Champions League holders Real Madrid will contest against Atalanta — the Europa League winners, on Wednesday night for the UEFA Super Cup 2024 trophy in Warsaw, Poland. As the two continental champions teams set to compete in an exhilarating fixture, Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti issues a piece of advice to Kylian Mbappe. 

The Frenchman, Mbappe is the latest inductee in the star-studded Los Blancos squad and is poised to make his official debut for Real Madrid in the Super Cup match. Ancelotti spoke to UEFA in a recent interview on his arrival and advised the 25-year-old attacker to adapt to his life quickly.

He said, “First of all, he is going to bring his quality as well as his composure, attitude and dedication. He is going to have to adapt to this team as everyone has had to. We are very happy he is here because he has great qualities and – I’m sure, given his personality – he will adjust quickly.”

“Everybody at Real Madrid is very happy he is here: the fans, the club, the players, the team-mates, the coach. We are all very happy he is here. We’re sure he’ll do very well.” he added.

The forward has recently returned to the club’s training session after enjoying an extended Vacation break, after a grand welcome at Santiago Bernabeu stadium on his presentation last month in July. Kylian Mbappe has been received well by his fellow teammates and he has been working hard in training, looking sharp ahead of his debut match against Serie A opponents. 

The France International made his much-awaited transfer to the Spanish Captial from PSG after being linked with the move over the past few transfer windows. He joined the La Liga club, as a free agent following the expiry of his term with Parisians in the summer.
