Who are the best Kylian Mbappe replacements for the Madrid derby?

It has not been a start that Real Madrid fans wanted to see from Kylian Mbappe in his first season with the club. The French player felt discomfort on his thigh in a game against Alaves where he scored one goal in a 3-2 victory. 

Mbappe has had a great time for the past few games, having already scored five league goals in seven matches. The injury disrupted the positive trend but Madrid stated that the player’s condition is the priority. With such a condition, Mbappe will not be featured in the upcoming game against Atletico Madrid. 

Real Madrid will not take any risk

“Following tests carried out today by Real Madrid’s Medical Services on our player Kylian Mbappé, he has been diagnosed with an injury to the biceps femoris in his left leg. His progress will be monitored,” Real Madrid announced in their statement. 

Contenders for Kylian Mbappe replacements

With Mbappe out, Madrid still has several potential replacements to step into the position. The young Turkish Arda Guller still has much potential to shine brighter in La Liga. During his international duty with Turkiye, Guller was breaking out several deadlocks with a screamer. 

This could be also done with Real Madrid if the youngster was given more time and trust to play the game as he wanted it to be. In fact, with Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior on both sides, Madrid can still pose a threat to the opponents. 

Another player who can plotted into Mbappe’s position is Endrick. The energetic youngster is in full-gear mode after scoring his first league goal last week. Endrick has the determination and hard work that Madrid needs. One other plus thing is he speaks the same language as Rodry and Vini which makes him easier to adapt up front.
