Los Blancos remain at the top of the table after their 1-0 win over Sevilla at the Santiago Bernabeu. Luka Modric’s 82nd-minute wondergoal was enough to secure them the win as they look set to win the title.

Girona

Girona retained their second position in the La Liga table after beating 10-men Rayo Vallecano 3-0 at home. They broke a run of three league games without a win in emphatic fashion. They are six points behind leaders Real Madrid.

Barcelona

Barcelona appeared to be regaining their dominant form in recent games. They beat Getafe 4-0 at home as Raphinha shone for them. The Blaugrana retained the third place in the position as they sit eight points behind their arch-rivals Real Madrid.

Atletico Madrid

Atletico’s poor run of form continues as they drew 2-2 against bottom-placed Almeria away. The Rojiblancos have won just one of their last six games across competitions. They are fourth in the La Liga table, five points behind Barcelona.

Athletic Club

Athletic Bilbao suffered a big blow in their top-four hopes this season. After Atletico’s draw, they could’ve taken the fourth spot but they lost 3-1 against Real Betis away. Moreover, their star player Nico Williams was also sent off and will be suspended for their next game against Barcelona.
