It will be a comeback journey for the Foxes, as they return to first division football after winning the Championship. The club is facing a significant transition after Enzo Maresca departed the club in the summer. New manager, Steve Cooper has got a bunch of young additions to the squad. They have signed a 20-year-old right winger, Issahaku Fatawu from Sporting CP, 22-year-old centre-back Caleb Okoli among others. They would require to adapt swiftly as they aim to establish themselves in the premier league once again.

They did not have a great pre-season as they lost three out of their five matches. Star forward Jamie Vardy, Conor Coady and Patson Daka are out due to injuries.
