All is not good at Bayern Munich at the moment as the club’s 11-year reign as German champions is set to end in the coming weeks as Bayer Leverkusen remain in pole position to capture the Bundesliga glory. On the other hand, the record German champions are also dealing with off-field issues with players like Alphonso Davies and Joshua Kimmich on their way out. While the former is linked with Real Madrid, Kimmich’s future is very interesting, and could sign for a Premier League club in the coming transfer window.
Kimmich to leave Bayern?
A product of the Stuttgart and Leipzig academy, Kimmich has been with Bayern for the last nine seasons and is considered one of the best players in his position. However, it is reported that he wants out of the club with issues between him and current boss Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel. The friction between the two is such that Kimmich even approached for January’s move away from the club. However, the move was not sanctioned by the board of Bayern which wanted to wait at least until the summer.
Clubs like Manchester United, Liverpool, and Arsenal have a keen interest in the player as they have kept tabs on him. All three clubs have no financial issues and can move swiftly if Bayern are ready to part ways for the right price.

Why are clubs interested in Joshua Kimmich?
Arsenal in the summer are likely to part ways with Thomas Partey which could open the doors for Kimmich. On the other hand, Jorginho is also another player who could leave if the right offer comes for the Italian player, paving Arsenal to sign a new player. For Manchester United, they are clearly not happy with the situation of Casemiro who plays a similar role to Kimmich for United. So if he is allowed to leave, United will be aware of the situation and could bid for the player.
Liverpool are also going through a phase of transition and will put their name in the hat if the player is made available. Jurgen Klopp, who will leave at the end of the season, is a big fan of his fellow German and could help Liverpool get his signature.
On the other hand, Bayern are also desperate to stop Kimmich from leaving and are also parting ways with Thomas Tuchel, which could help in keeping the player at the club beyond this summer.
