Manchester City were behind twice when facing their city rivals Manchester United in the Community Shield matchup at Wembley. The Red Devils took the lead first in the second half when Alejandro Garnacho found the back of the net after coming on from the bench.
When everything seemed to be over for City, Bernardo Silva saved the day by scoring the equalizer goal to push the game into a penalty shootout. However, Silva failed to convert it from the spot as the first kicker. City ended up winning the process 7-6 and it was Pep Guardiola’s third Community Shield trophy.

89′ – GOAL: Bernardo Silva saved the day for Cityzens as he scored an equalizer in the dying minutes.
