Mohamed Salah Prepared to Reject Saudi Pro League Move on Two Conditions

Reports emerging suggest that Liverpool‘s talismanic forward, Mohamed Salah, is poised to decline a lucrative offer from the Saudi Pro League and extend his stay at Anfield, contingent upon two specific conditions.

Mohamed Salah to Saudi Pro League – Possibility?

According to sources cited by Sport Witness, Salah, often dubbed the “Egyptian King,” is reportedly open to remaining with Liverpool despite the impending departure of current manager Jurgen Klopp.

Speculation surrounding Salah’s future has intensified, particularly as his contract with the Reds is set to expire in the summer of 2025.

Interest from clubs backed by the Public Investment Fund in the Saudi Pro League has persisted, with Al-Ittihad purportedly tabling a staggering £150 million bid for Salah’s services last summer.

Despite Klopp’s imminent exit from Liverpool, the interest from Saudi Arabia remains undeterred, buoyed by Salah’s contractual situation.

However, it’s understood that Salah is willing to entertain the prospect of signing a new contract with Liverpool under two specific conditions.

The Two Conditions

Since his arrival from AS Roma in 2017 for £34.3 million, Salah has consistently delivered stellar performances for Liverpool, amassing an impressive tally of 206 goals and 92 assists in 336 appearances.

His influence on the field has been pivotal, earning him a place in Liverpool’s history books as the fifth-highest goal-scorer for the club.

Throughout the current campaign, Salah has maintained his exceptional form, contributing 20 goals and 13 assists in 31 appearances across various competitions.

His prowess has been instrumental in Liverpool’s pursuit of multiple trophies this season, as they remain in contention for a quadruple.
