Neymar’s Al-Hilal have won the Saudi Pro League
Neymar comments on his future at Al-Hilal
Neymar Jr. has claimed that he will stay at Al-Hilal next season. Neymar is currently sidelined with an ACL injury and has barely featured this season. He completed a summer move from Paris Saint-Germain. The Brazilian has made only five appearances, scoring once and providing three assists.
Al-Hilal, meanwhile, recently won the Saudi Pro League, courtesy of their win against Al-Hazm. Neymar was spotted celebrating alongside his teammates on the field. He spoke to the media as well and claimed that he is already looking forward to next season. The former Barcelona and PSG superstar said (via GOAL):
“I am feeling good. I am impatient to be back on the pitch. The fans are unbelievable. Unfortunately, I havenβt been able to give them the happiness they deserve but you can be sure that next season we are going to have a lot of fun.”
Neymar has a contract until the end of the 2024-25 season with Al-Hilal. His first season in Saudi football was marred by injuries. Fans will hope that the 32-year-old can tantalize fans with his brilliance next season.
Al-Hilal superstar Neymar Jr. not named in Brazil’s Copa American 2024 squad
Al-Hilal superstar Neymar Jr. hasn’t been included in Brazil’s squad for the Copa America 2024, set to take place in the United States. His fitness issue is the main reason behind the superstar’s exclusion. Gabriel Martinelli, Raphinha, Savinho, Rodrygo, and Vinicius Junior are the wide attacking players in Brazil’s squad.
Neymar’s absence is a big blow for Selecaos. He is Brazil’s all-time top scorer with 79 goals in 128 appearances for the five-time world champions.
