Mario Lemina to Wolves

Wolves in Talks for PSG Young Talent Noha Lemina Amidst Striker Considerations

Wolverhampton Wanderers (Wolves) are currently engaged in negotiations to secure the services of Noha Lemina, the 18-year-old sibling of star midfielder Mario Lemina. The young talent, who emerged from the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) academy, showcased his potential during last summer’s pre-season with the French giants.

Despite an impressive start, a lack of first-team opportunities led to Lemina’s loan stint at Italian second-tier side Sampdoria. Having made only one league appearance, PSG are set to recall the attacking midfielder or winger from his loan, paving the way for Wolves to enter the scene.

Wolves are all set to consider Noha on loan deal

Wolves are actively pursuing a loan deal for the remainder of the season with an option to buy in the summer. While negotiations are underway, a formal agreement between the two clubs is pending, with Wolves optimistic about the outcome.

Although Noha Lemina is anticipated to train with Wolves’ first team, an immediate impact in the Premier League may not be on the horizon, as the club prioritizes nurturing his burgeoning talent. The potential signing carries an emotional undertone, as reuniting Noha with older brother Mario at Molineux during a challenging period for the family could provide a welcomed boost.

Mario Lemina, a standout performer for Wolves this season, recently missed a match against Everton due to compassionate leave following the passing of their father. The prospect of the Lemina brothers sharing the pitch at Molineux adds a familial dimension to Wolves’ strategic transfer considerations.

Amidst transfer discussions, Wolves are cautious about parting ways with Sasa Kalajdzic unless a suitable replacement striker is secured. The Austrian striker has garnered interest from German clubs, with Eintracht Frankfurt and Wolfsburg reportedly in talks for a loan move.

However, Wolves, with a compact squad, are hesitant to let Kalajdzic leave without a replacement, potentially allowing the striker to gain more playing time on loan once a new number nine is acquired.

As Wolves navigate these transfer dynamics, the club is keen on reinforcing its squad with a striker and a winger this month, mindful of financial constraints that dictate a measured approach to player acquisitions.
