Noni Madueke is preparing for his fate as a loanee when Mauricio Pochettino has not shown any interest to make him a first choice. The 22-year old only played 12 games since joining from PSV Eindhoven last summer.
TEAMTalk reported that Madueke is worrying about his place in the national team and started to look somewhere else to earn more playing time. It is reported that he gets over Chelsea despite having scored four for the Stamford Bridge-based club.

Chelsea Transfer News: Mauricio Pochettino is aware of Noni Madueke’s frustration
Madueke scored his first league goal this season against Crystal Palace in December. It was a game-winning goal over The Eagles and Pochettino was aware about his player’s frustration for not being a main option for the team.
“I like it because he showed he was upset with me. He was disappointed with me because he didn’t play too much — also because he’s been injured.”
Madueke’s performance for Chelsea has gained mixed reactions from former players. Ex-Tottenham midfielder Jamie O’Hara praised his quality when beating Aston Villa in the fourth round of the FA Cup last month.
“He (Madueke) was gliding past players,” said O’Hara via Sportskeeda. “It’s the best I’ve seen him play. I didn’t really know much about the guy and when I’ve watched him I’ve not been completely convinced that he’s anything special.
“But tonight he was quick, he took the ball past players, he drifted past players, he was direct in his play. I’ve just not seen that in him at all.”
On the other hand, Madueke disappointed the former Premier League’s all time top scorer Alan Shearer. Reacting on the player’s performance against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final, Sheare said: “Madueke has had three really good opportunities and he has wasted all of them, he did exactly what Liverpool wanted him to do there.”
Cheslea Transfer News: The Blues continue monitoring Nico Williams
At the same time, Chelsea are also reported to loan Madueke to another club. The Blues could do the same as they have done to Ian Maatsen who was loaned to Borussia Dortmund in January. Paralelly, Chelsea are monitoring Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams, who is likely to replace either Mykhaylo Mudryk or Raheem Sterling next season.
Williams so far has not denied the possibility of moving to London, nor accepting it. Inaki Williams’ sibling is focused on the Copa del Rey final which his team will take part in against Real Mallorca.
Last November, Williams is trusting his employment future to his agent by saying: “The fact that great clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona and Premier League clubs want me means I’m doing things well. For me, it’s clear what decision I want. My agents are working on it.”
