Following his move to Juventus as a free-agent, a lot was expected from Paul Pogba but the French midfielder struggled to establish himself as a first-team star. Injuries and various other issues didn’t help the now 31-year-old before he was banned from professional football. That came after the Frenchman tested positive for DHEA following Juventus’ first game of the 2023/24 season.
The 2018 World Cup winner was handed a four-year ban in February although Pogba has appealed the decision and the ruling is being taken to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). Yet, reports have indicated that the midfielder’s career could be over as the CAS doesn’t see grounds to overturn the ban as of yet.
However, the case has taken a new twist as reports have indicated that Pogba was allegedly supplied pills by a celebrity health guru.
American clinic 10X Health Systems alleged to have supplied Pogba with pills
According to the Daily Mail, an American clinic, 10X Health Systems, are at the center of the issue as they allegedly supplied Pogba with the pills that he believes were responsible for failing his drug test. The report has indicated that the Frenchman had a consultation with celebrity health guru Gary Brecka, who has also treated Kendall Jenner and P Diddy.
The 31-year-old believes that after consultation with Brecka, he was recommended a course of tables as tests revealed certain deficiencies in his body. The Daily Mail has also reported that Pogba has handed the CAS photographic evidence of 10X Health Systems name on the label of pill bottles. Pogba also claimed that 10X doctor Carrie Carda administered the pills alongside other medication which allegedly may have also played a role.
