Poland vs Estonia Preview

  • Tournament – European Championship Qualifiers
  • Date – Thursday, March 21
  • Kick-off Time – 05:00 pm GMT
  • Venue – National Stadium Warsaw, Poland

Poland will host Estonia in the first of their two European Championship Qualifiers this month in preparation for the UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany. Both sides did well in the qualifiers and will compete in the continental tournament in the summer.

Poland came third in the group finishing behind Albania and the Czech Republic in the qualifying group but they still have the chance to make it to the European Championships. They won three, drew two and lost three of their 8 games in the Qualifiers. But the Eagles have a 20-match unbeaten run on their home turf, winning 15 of them and drawing five.

Estonia, meanwhile, have finished last in their group in the Euro 2024 Qualifiers behind Belgium, Austria, Sweden, and Azerbaijan. They managed to secure only one point from a possible 24. They are the only team participating in the playoffs that finished last in their 2024 European qualifying group.

Estonia, on the other hand, are not dealing with any major injuries. Arsenal’s third-choice keeper Karl Hein will deputies in between the sticks.

While both sides have struggled to qualify for the UEFA 2024 Euros, Poland will have a better chance in the play-offs. They are also in great form and their star players are firing for their respective clubs. We can expect the home side to make a rapid start and assert their dominance.

Estonia, meanwhile, have struggled in recent times and have found themselves behind at half-time in their last six competitive matches. Most of their players ply their trade in lesser-known European leagues.

It is likely to be an easy affair for Poland, who are unbeaten in their last six home matches.

Predicted Score: Poland 2-0 Estonia
