Arsenal once again managed to sit at the top of the Premier League table with a 2-3 win over their North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday. The Gunners were leading the match by three goals to nil after the first half but a strong Spurs comeback in the second half of the game did manage to give them a few scares.
The Mikel Arteta side eventually managed to hold on and grab all three points on the day with goals through Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz. Their remaining fixtures do appear to be a tad easier than those compared to Man City, and Liverpool in their quest for the Premier League title. However, the Gunners must keep their winning momentum going amidst the piling pressure from Man City.

Man City drubbed Nottingham Forest 0-2 to remain in the Premier League title race. The reigning champions now sit in the second position with 79 points to their name after their recent triumph. However, City’s goal difference is notably lower than the Gunners. So, to win the title they would be required to beat Arsenal by points won.
The Pep Guardiola side does hold a match in hand as they have played a game lesser than both their title rivals at this stage of the season. However, with the unpredictable Wolves being their next opponent and then Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs also being there in the fixture list for them, it could be a bumpy ride ahead for City.

Liverpool hasn’t had the best of times in their Premier League title charge recently. A home loss to Crystal Palace was rejuvenated by an away win over Fulham. But, things hit a new low for Jurgen Klopp’s side as they crashed to a 2-0 loss against Everton in the Merseyside Derby. Their recent 2-2 draw against West Ham further dismantled their hopes of winning the title.
The Reds do have a difficult run of remaining fixtures. Despite two of their three fixtures being at Anfield, the teams they are facing are pretty capable of beating them on their day. With teams like Tottenham, Wolves, and Aston Villa to come next for Liverpool, they have to try and win all of them, to give themselves even a minor chance of a title triumph.
