With Liverpool, Arsenal, and Man City still in the Premier League title race, who can hold their nerve to win it as the end of the season rapidly approaches?
Premier League Title Race: Who can hold their nerve to win it?
1.) Arsenal

With five matches to go Arsenal find themselves at par with Liverpool on points and at the top of the table, with Man City having one game in hand over the Gunners. Mikel Arteta’s men arrive on top at the start of the week, but the Gunners will be put through hell over the next few days.
Arsenal are set to play Chelsea in a derby tonight at the Emirates Stadium, while the Gunners will also face their other London rivals Tottenham over the weekend away from home. While Chelsea and Tottenham have both been in abysmal form lately, the pressure of two derbies in the same week and the motivation of both sides to ruin Arsenal’s title chase could certainly hurt Arteta’s side.
If the Gunners somehow manage to finish the week unscathed, they will still have to face Manchester United away from home on the penultimate day of the season. A long few weeks await Arsenal who also have to bank on Man City to drop points if they are to win the league. The Premier League title race has been exciting, but a loss for Arsenal this week could see them bow out of the race if other results don’t go their way. The path to Premier League glory for the Gunners is the hardest and if they manage to overcome the challenges in their path, they will certainly be deserving winners. However, at the moment it seems pretty unlikely.
2.) Liverpool
Current PL Ranking: 2
Points: 74

Jurgen Klopp’s Reds returned to winning ways in the Premier League over the weekend as they trashed Fulham 1-3. However, their shock loss against Crystal Palace at Anfield a week prior blew away their advantage in the league and has certainly made the Premier League title race a tad bit harder for the Reds.
The Reds might consider themselves luckier than table toppers Arsenal, as they are set to take on only two heavyweights Tottenham and Aston Villa as the end of the season approaches. While these matches might present a challenge for Liverpool, the Reds will be rejuvenated by the return of several key players from injury ahead of the crucial ties. Realistically, the Reds have a strong chance of winning the Premier League title race in Jurgen Klopp’s last season at the club, but unfortunately for them, they don’t control their fate.
Even if Liverpool manages to win all their remaining games, Liverpool will have to depend on Man City and Arsenal both dropping points. Liverpool’s loss against Arsenal earlier in the season cost them dearly as the Gunners will finish higher than the Reds in the standings if both sides end the season at par on points. While Liverpool’s path to glory seems easier than Arsenal’s, their dependence on their rivals to win the Premier League title race might be their undoing.
3.) Manchester City
Current PL Ranking: 3
Points: 73

The reigning champions currently find themselves in third place in the Premier League but have a game in hand over their rivals in the Premier League title race. Pep Guardiola’s men find themselves in a familiar situation as they battle to win the title yet again. Their run-up to the end of the season will see them take on Tottenham and West Ham.
While Manchester City have struggled against Tottenham in recent seasons, their recent elimination from the UEFA Champions League will certainly motivate the Cityzens to strive for the best and win the Premier League title race. An FA Cup final against local rivals Man United awaits them as well, but apart from that tie, City will focus all of their energy on securing the league title yet again.
The Cityzens arrive at the business end of the season with a refreshed squad, free of injuries, and will look to capitalize on their advantage in the league. Unlike Arsenal and Liverpool, City can afford to drop points at least once, however, they will attempt to win all of their remaining fixtures. A win against Brighton and Championship-bound Nottingham Forest this week could see Pep Guardiola’s men end the week with a two-point lead over their Premier League title race rivals Liverpool and Arsenal.
Realistically, the Cityzens, like every season, are in pole position to win the English Premier League. While their fixtures could be a tad bit tricky, City’s ability to dominate rivals and squad depth could prove to be crucial to their run in the Premier League title race. It would be surprising if Man City are crowned as champions at the end of the season.
