Real Madrid plotting a move for PSG midfielder Fabian Ruiz

The Galacticos are considering a move for PSG midfielder Fabian Ruiz according to a report by Spanish outlet Defensa Central. The Spanish midfielder who won the European Championships this summer has been identified as a key reinforcement for the upcoming summer transfer window.

Fabian Ruiz rose to prominence during his spell with Real Betis and has developed into one of the most promising and dependable midfielders in the modern era. The departure of Toni Kroos earlier this summer has left a void in the Real Madrid midfield and recent injuries to Camavinga and Bellingham has stressed the need for a new midfielder in 2025.

Carlo Ancelotti keen to reunite with Fabian Ruiz at Real Madrid

Fabian Ruiz has emerged as a top target for La Liga giants Real Madrid who are keen to invest in a midfielder in the 2025 summer window. They are in the market for a new midfielder after Toni Kroos called time on his stellar career whereas Luka Modric is starting to feel the passage of time as he approaches the final few months of his contract.

Ruiz’s spell with PSG has been something sort of a mixed bag since his arrival at the French capital in the summer of 2022. Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti wants to reunite with the Spaniard who spent a year under the Italian manager at Napoli during the 2018/19 season.

The 28-year-old midfielder was influential in the European Championships for Spain this summer and his exploits haven’t gone unnoticed. But it’s still unclear whether PSG would expect an offer from Real Madrid for Ruiz who still has three years left on his contract.
