The Brazilian has another three years on his contract with Tottenham…
Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison is reportedly ready to move to Saudi Arabia, and the Saudi Pro League is stepping up their pursuit of him. Although he has another three years left on his contract, the Lilywhites are ready to let him leave for £60 million, the fee that they paid to get him from Everton.
Following a tough debut season that saw him net just once in the Premier League, Richarlison improved under Ange Postecoglu in the 2023-24 season by scoring 11 goals in the competition. But now, he could be on his way out of the Tottenham Hotspur stadium and to the Middle East, where HITC reported he is interested in playing at the Saudi Pro League.
His departure would leave a gap in Tottenham’s attacking department but would open up a chance to look for new attacking recruits who can bolster their vanguard. Feyenoord’s Santiago Gimenez is rumored to be one of their targets, with the Mexican forward reportedly available for £42 million.
Richarlison could be eyeing Brazil’s return by seeking new pastures
Although he still has a few years at the top, Richarlison’s interest in joining the Saudi Pro League could stem from his ambition of reigniting his international career with Brazil. Currently, it’s frozen, with the striker last playing for the Canaries in October 2023. However, at 27, he could still get call-ups in the future, and moving to Saudi Arabia, where he’s certain to find plenty of games and goals, could help him bring his Brazil career back on track.
