However, De Zerbi leaving the club was not on the books beforehand, and his sudden departure from the Sussex-based club surprised many in the English football hierarchy.

Injuries although played a crucial part in Brighton’s season ending on a low. Maybe that’s why De Zerbi wanted his club to be more aggressive going forward in the transfer window to enhance his squad. But as it turned out the Seagulls’ Chairman Tony Bloom wasn’t on the same page as the Italian manager regarding that scenario. Reportedly, Bloom had his own ways as to how the club should work out their transfer market operations.
Also as reported by BBC, Brighton’s Chairman laid down a catastrophic statement regarding De Zerbi’s departure. “You don’t find many times in football when relationships come to an end amicably”, Tony Bloom reportedly stated. Well, his words pretty much sum up the saga of Roberto De Zerbi’s departure from Brighton.
Roberto De Zerbi asserts there is ”no other club behind me” amidst Bayern Munich speculations
