Saudi Pro League Abha FC Overview

The Abha FC is based in the city of Abha located in Saudi Arabia. The club has its home stadium as Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Stadium. The club was established initially by Abdullah Al-Muallami. Abha FC secured its first victory title in the season 1993–94 by winning the Saudi Second division. The club won the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Cup for Division 1 during the 2003/04 season.

Abha FC continued their victory and won the Saudi First Division Cup during the 2018/19 season. They had also been the champions of the Saudi Third division during the 1998/99 season. However, During the 2008/09 season, the club entered into the Saudi Pro League and finished at the eleventh spot in the table. Abha FC managed to win only 4 matches out of 22. Now, The first and primary task for Abha FC is to prevent itself from getting relegated from the Saudi Pro League. Further, they would try to improve their performance in the upcoming Kings Cup tournament under which they got eliminated in the last season. They were defeated by Al Nassr in the quarterfinal.

As of now, They would try to reach the semi-finals of this tournament at least so that its players and management could be motivated to perform well in the future seasons of the Saudi Pro League.
