Matches of Scotland in UEFA EURO 2024

Scotland will play their opening match of the tournament on June 14 against hosts Germany. Before that, they will play in warm-up matches against Gibraltar (June 3, 5pm) and at home against Finland (June 7, 7.45pm) ahead of the Euro 2024.

Scotland has a history of starting tournaments off strong. In 1998, they were selected to play Brazil in the World Cup opener, a match they lost 2-1 due to an own goal by Tom Boyd in the second half.

Scotland Euro 2024 kit

The renowned arrangement served as inspiration for Scotland’s new home kit, which the Tartan Army will now wear on both their top and bottom halves.

Scotland Euro 2024 squad, player roster

Ben Doak, a teenage boy from Liverpool, was included, which was a major call. Despite the 18-year-old forward’s lack of senior international experience and his lone Premier League game in 2023–24, Clarke thought it was worth taking a chance on him.

“Ben is incredibly talented. He grabs your attention,” he said to the press. “We don’t have a lot of someone with his pace. I’ve never had the opportunity to work with him, but he’s a young man. With the squad growing from 23 to 26, it seems like the appropriate move.”

Due to injuries to first-choice right-backs Aaron Hickey and Nathan Patterson, Bristol City defender Ross McCrorie is another uncapped player in the provisional squad.

After spending almost three years away from the international scene, James Forrest of Celtics was called up, and Ryan Jack of Rangers is hoping to make the final roster after missing out on Euro 2020. Included are well-known performers Scott McTominay, Andrew Robertson, John McGinn, and Billy Gilmour.
