Premier League giants Manchester United are reportedly on the verge of signing Bundesliga side Bayern Munich’s defender Noussair Mazraoui. An agreement in principle has been ‘found’ between both the European clubs. Reports also had it that alongside Mazraoui, Bayern’s Matthijs de Ligt will also be joining Man United.
In his initial season at Ajax for the senior side, the 26-year-old right-back played with the number 40 jersey. The following season he donned the number 12. He went on with the same number for the remainder of his stint with the Dutch side. When Mazraoui joined Bayern Munich in 2022, he was again found wearing the number 40.
