“If you doubt me, even better” – Marcus Rashford makes a brutal promise to Man United fans

Manchester United are eight points away from the “safe zone” of the Champions League slot for next season. Many think that the chase is over for United, but Marcus Rashford refuses to see it the same way.

In the latest Premier League game, Erik Ten Hag’s squad just suffered a huge blow as they lost to Fulham at Old Trafford, ending their five-match unbeaten run. A bounce-back is not likely to happen soon as United are scheduled to visit the Etihad Stadium to face their neighbours Manchester City this weekend.

Rashford believes the best of Man Unitedis yet to come

Despite the underperforming display from United this season, Rashford believes that his team is still on the right track. He even said that the best is yet to come from his teammates.

“I promise you, the world has not seen the best of this United squad and these players,” he said in his latest Player’s Tribune publication. “We want to be back playing in the Champions League; then we have a massive international tournament at the end of the season.

United finished fourth in the group stage of the Champions League this season. In six games, Rashford and company have only managed to win one game. They lost another four games, two of them at Old Trafford, and drew one.

Rashford featured in four of United’s games in the group stage without scoring. Even with the poor results in this edition of the Champions League season, it does not distract him from working hard.

“We will be back where we belong. We just have to keep working, and that starts with me. If you back me, good. If you doubt me, even better.”
