The UEFA Euro 2024 kicked off in Germany on June 16, and it has already shown why it is regarded as one of the toughest football tournaments in the world. 2. Remo Freuler (Switzerland vs Hungary)

Switzerland’s second goal came through Michel Aebischer’s accurate shot. But, it was his Bologna team-mate, Remo Freuler, who set him up for this. On the stroke of half-time, the young Swiss midfielder found a loose ball in the final third and dribbled past one Hungarian player to find Aebischer, who executed a wonderful finish. 3. Dominik Szoboszlai (Switzerland vs Hungary)

The Liverpool midfielder is justifying every bit of his world-class player tag by producing an impressive performance at UEFA Euro 2024. In Hungary’s 1-3 loss against Switzerland, Dominik Szoboszlai was the only positive sign for his nation. The playmaker sent a beautiful cross begging for a tough inside the Swiss penalty box. 4. Lamine Yamal (Spain vs Croatia)

Dennis Man, the Parma winger, was everywhere for Romania in their first game of the UEFA Euro 2024 against Ukraine. He was the main creator of his team’s 3-0 victory with two important assists. The first and third goal of the game was assisted by the clever Dennis Man, who selflessly set his teammates up instead of taking desperate shots. Following a shaky clearance from the Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin, Man intercepted the ball and fed it to the center-positioned Nicolae Stanciu, who produced a thunderous strike to hit the roof of the net. 6. Lorenzo Pellegrini (Italy vs Albania)

Pellegrini’s cross for Alessandro Bastoni’s goal is an assist to remember. The Italian midfielder received a short pass following a corner, and sent a cross deep into the danger zone. Bastoni waited there and buried a perfect header past Thomas Strakosha to level the score line.
