The UEFA Europa League 2023-24 Round of 16 draw has been finalised following the playoffs. Some big teams like Liverpool, AC Milan, and Bayer Leverkusen are still alive in the competition and arguably favorites to go all the way.
The Europa League playoffs saw teams that finished in third place in their UEFA Champions League groups like Milan drop down. They competed with the teams that finished second in their respective Europa League groups. The winners will now face the group winners in the Europa League Round of 16 draw.
UEFA Europa League Round of 16 draw:
- Sporting CP vs Atalanta
- AS Roma vs Brighton & Hove Albion
- AC Milan vs Slavia Praha
- SC Freiburg vs West Ham United
- Sparta Prague vs Liverpool

All of these ties will take place over two legs as always. The first leg of the tie will be played at the home grounds of the teams mentioned first in the second week of March. The return legs will take place a week later.
Last year’s winners Sevilla aren’t competing, having finished at the bottom of their Champions League group. However, Roma, whom Sevilla beat in the final, will hope to go all the way this time.
Liverpool are fighting on all four fronts this season and will hope to end Jurgen Klopp’s tenure at the club on a high. Meanwhile, Bayer Leverkusen, who are unbeaten across competitions this season, are also one of the favorites to lift the title.
