He most notably scored the winner against Liverpool in the 2022 final as Real Madrid won 1-0. Besides, he also has 22 assists to his name as well.

That’s an average of 0.82 goal-contributions per game. In today’s final, in what’s also his first-ever game against Borussia Dortmund, Vinicius will be aiming to bag a few more and guide his side to a record-extending 15th title in the competition.

Having struck in the 2022 final, Vinicius Junior is looking to join the elite list of players who have scored in multiple Champions League finals. It’s a record held by only a few, such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, and Sergio Ramos at Real Madrid, and others like Lionel Messi and Mario Mandzukic.
