Spain have been crowned the UEFA Euro 2024 winners after beating England in the final. Luis De La Fuente’s side dominated the game and were reluctant to give the Three Lions any chance to get close to the trophy and stole the win at the very end.

Spain and England played out a goalless first half, but the Spanish side suffered a massive blow at half-time. The Player Of The Tournament, Rodri, was forced off after reportedly picking up a hamstring injury.

However, Nico Williams ensured that they had no time to think about it by giving them the lead early in the second half. Lamine Yamal found the winger inside the box, and there was nothing Kyle Walker and Jordan Pickford could do to stop his shot.

Cole Palmer was introduced in the 70th minute as Gareth Southgate tried to get his side back in the game. The Chelsea star did not take long to score the equalizer, as he found the back of the net in the 73rd minute with a superb strike from outside the box.

Spain kept trying to get back into the lead, but England had shut the door on all their attacks. However, things turned in their favor thanks to Marc Cucurella’s inch-perfect ball.

The left-back found Mikel Oyarzabal, who timed his run to perfect, and the forward slotted the ball past Jordan Pickford to make it 2-1 in the 86th minute. Spain managed to hold on to their lead and seal their historic 4th European title.
