As Germany is set to host Euro 2024, the race for the 3 final spots via the Play-offs is heating up.12 nations are set to compete in the race, with the semi-final of the playoffs set for 21st March 2024 and the final for 26th March 2024. Euro 2024: A Preview

Euro 2024 will feature 24 countries battling it out in Germany to secure the title of the European Champions. The Euro qualifiers saw 20 teams from 10 groups qualify, while Germany secured qualification as the host. Now, the three remaining spots are up for contention amongst 12 nations.

How does the Euro playoffs work?

12 nations based on their final rankings in the 2022/23 Nations League were handed a chance to qualify for Euro 2024 since they couldn’t crack it in the Euro Championship qualifiers. These 12 nations have been divided into 3 different paths to 3 different finals. 

Path A will see Poland battle Estonia in the first semi-final, while Wales will take on Finland in the second semi-final. The winners of the two semi-finals will meet in the Path A final to secure their berth for the championship in Germany. 

Meanwhile, Path B involves an interesting match-up between Israel and Iceland in the first semi-final. The second semi-final will see Bosnia and Herzegovina take on Ukraine. The Path B final on 26th March will see the winners of the two clashes meet.

The final path, Path C, consists of Georgia, Greece, Kazakhstan and Luxembourg. Luxembourg and Georgia will compete in the first semi-final. While Greece will face Kazakhstan in the second semi-final. 

All semi-finals are single-legged ties.

When and Where can I watch the Euro 2024 Playoffs? 

Euro 2024 and Euro 2024 play-offs will be broadcast over several channels and OTT platforms across the world. The Euro Play-offs semi-finals will be held on 21st March, while the finals will be held on 26th March 2024. The Euro 2024 will kick off in Munich, Germany on 14th June. Below are the channels and streaming platforms where you can access the tournament.

U.S.A.:

Fox Sports will be broadcasting the Euro 2024 play-offs. Fubo Tv will stream the games in the United States of America. 

India:

The tournament will be available on Sony Liv and Sony Sports Network for Indian viewers in the Indian subcontinent. 

Australia:

Optus Sports have secured the rights to broadcast the Euro 2024 and all its qualifying games in Australia. 

Across Europe:

United Kingdom:

Both Channel 4 and Premier Sports will enable viewers to watch Euro 2024 and the qualifying rounds in the United Kingdom. 

Germany:

DAZN holds the exclusive rights to stream the Euro 2024 and all play-offs in Germany. ARD, RTL and ZDF will broadcast the upcoming tournament to the German public on television.

France: 

L’Équipe and TF1 will broadcast the Euros in France. 

Spain:

RTVE will broadcast the Euros 2024 in Spain.

DAZN will also stream the play-offs in Luxembourg, while S4C will broadcast the game in Welsh in Wales. Viewers from Kazakhstan can view the game on Qazsport and residents of Poland can catch the Euro 2024 Play-offs on TVP.

Megogo is the official streaming partner of UEFA to stream the Euro 2024 play-offs in Ukraine. Arena Sport will offer Bosnia and Herzegovina residents to watch the tournament on one of their premium channels. Viaplay will make the matches available to residents of Estonia on their platform.

How can I watch the Euro 2024 for Free?

Fubo TV will offer viewers a seven-day free trial to watch the Euros free in Canada, U.S.A and Spain. ARD, RTL, and ZDF in Germany and BBC in Britain will televise Euro 2024 on free-to-air channels. UEFA tv will also stream a few Euro 2024 matches for free in select countries.
