Wolves vs Arsenal: Preview, Prediction and Betting Tips | Premier League

Wolves vs Arsenal Match Preview

Wolves vs Arsenal will take place at the Molineux Stadium in the Premier League as the 11th placed side gears up to host the second-placed team on April 20.

The hosts will enter this contest on the back of a faltering run of form. They have won just two games in their last eight across competitions, registering two draws and four defeats in the other six. During this time, Wolves have conceded 14 goals and scored nine goals as they look to find some consistency. Having lost 2-1 to West Ham United, they secured a 2-2 draw against Nottingham Forest in their last outing and will look for more of the same.

The Gunners, on the other hand, will enter this game on the back of a strong run of form. They have suffered two defeats in their last eight games across competitions. They lost 2-0 to Aston Villa in their last league game, before bowing out of the Champions League following a 3-2 aggregate loss to Bayern Munich. Apart from that, they have secured four wins and two draws in the other seven games, scoring 16 goals and conceding five. With just six games to go before the season ends, Arsenal were looking to add some wins under their belt to strengthen their title credentials.

With that said, let’s take a look at the team news coming out from both camps.

Manager Gary O’Neil will be without a couple of key first team players for his team’s next game. Star winger Pedro Neto will be out for this game having picked up a serious hamstring injury last month. Jean-Ricner Bellegarde missed the last game and could be out for the next one too, as well as Rayan Ait-Nouri.

Elsewhere, Mario Lemina (9), Nelson Semedo (9) and Joao Gomes (9) all risk being suspended for two games should they pick up another yellow card this season.

Arsenal

Manager Mikel Arteta’s injury list is almost down to zero with Jurrien Timber’s imminent return around the corner. The Dutchman picked up a cruciate ligament injury in the season-opener and has only recently made it back to full fitness.

Meanwhile, Kai Havertz is on nine yellows and will be suspended for two matches should he pick up another.
