At a time when many think the man’s career should be at it’s end, the Portuguese legend comes up with something from time to time which makes us wonder how well-loved and followed he is. This time around, Ronaldo’s travels have acclaimed him on the social media entertainment platform, YouTube. The 39-year-old took to his social media handles to announce the launch of his YouTube channel. ‘UR Cristiano’.

Within minutes of the launch, the channel became the biggest talking point amongst the football community. The Ronaldo faithful flooded his channel with comments. UR Cristiano gained a staggering 1 million subscribers in just 90 minutes, which is by far the quickest in YouTube history. The Real Madrid legend was also handed the gold button by YouTube for the feat.

Currently, the Al Nassr man has 15 million accounts subscribing to his channel which is a record and has uploaded 19 videos.

The former Manchester United striker is currently enduring a difficult state with his club Al Nassr due to financial and political issues.
