Each FPL manager is allotted a budget of £100 million to assemble a squad of 15 players, consisting of two goalkeepers, five defenders, five midfielders, and three forwards. However, you can have a maximum of three players from each Premier League team.

How to play the Fantasy Premier League

The primary objective of the Fantasy Premier League is to accumulate as many points as possible throughout the 2023-24 season.

You also need to designate a captain and a vice-captain before each game week. The captain receives double points, while the vice-captain serves as a backup in case your captain doesn’t play, with the double points then going to the vice-captain.

Upon registering, you will automatically join various “general leagues,” including a fan league based on the team you support, a country league, a “Gameweek” league based on your sign-up timing, and an overall league.

Furthermore, you have the option to create an invitational mini-league, either in a classic or head-to-head format, allowing you to compete against friends and family.

In addition to the standard league format, FPL teams are entered into the cup competition, the start date of which is determined by the total number of players participating.

While there are no strict limitations on when you can enter your team, fairness is maintained by allowing only one team per individual.
