Atalanta 2-3 Real Madrid: Player Ratings as Mbappe and Vinicius score for Los Blancos in a thrilling win

Atalanta hosted Real Madrid at their Gewiss Stadium in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, December 10 and fell to a 3-2 defeat against Los Blancos.

The visitors made a great start to the contest as forward Kylian Mbappe scored just 10 minutes into the match, with Brahim Diaz providing the assist. The hosts chased the game for most of the first period and were rewarded on the cusp of half-time. Charles De Ketelaere stepped up and converted a penalty to ensure Atalanta were level at 1-1.

Vinicius Junior restored Real Madrid’s lead 11 minutes after the restart and assisted Jude Bellingham for 3-1 just three minutes later. Ademola Lookman pulled one back for the hosts in the 65^th minute, but Atalanta were unbale to level the contest and ended up losing.
