Mbappe shines in first Real Madrid appearance
Kylian Mbappe wasted no time making his mark at Real Madrid by scoring on his debut in the UEFA Super Cup clash against Atalanta.
The French forward who joined Los Blancos this summer from Paris Saint-Germain found the net in the 2-0 victory also securing his first goal for the Spanish giants.
After the match his new teammate Jude Bellingham couldn’t hide his admiration for Mbappe’s performance.
“I thought he was amazing before, and now I’ve got the chance to play with him and see the details a little bit closer,” Bellingham said, reflecting on Mbappe’s impact on the pitch.

Bellingham praises Mbappe work ethic and leadership
Bellingham was not only impressed by Mbappe’s technical abilities but also by his work rate and leadership on the field. “He’s brilliant – he is so sharp, has so much technical quality, and he is a great teammate as well,” Bellingham added. “He doesn’t just rely on the quality he’s got, he works like a dog for the team like the rest of the lads.”
The English midfielder also highlighted how well Mbappe has adapted to the team and the positive atmosphere in the Real Madrid dressing room.
“He’s settled right in, and it’s a great team. It’s a great dressing room for welcoming players, and we’ll do the same with him. I’m sure he’ll give us more rewards like he did tonight.”
As Real Madrid prepares to kick off their La Liga campaign against Mallorca on August 18 fans are eagerly anticipating more stellar performances from their new superstar. With Mbappe already making waves it seems the Frenchman is ready to take La Liga by storm.
