Udinese Calcio vs Inter Milan Player Ratings: Lautaro Martinez’s brace secures 3-2 away win.

In the Serie A 2024-25 match week six meeting, Simone Inzaghi managed Inter Milan edged past Udinese Calcio to secure a thrilling 3-2 away victory at the Bluenergy Stadium. For the visitors, the Argentine star striker Lautaro Martinez bagged a double and Davide Frattesi’s early strike sealed the three points against the hosts Udinese.

After this win, Inter have now three Serie A wins, two draws and a single defeat in a total of six league outings in the 2024-25 season. Meanwhile, Udinese also have the same amount of wins in the league, in as many league games, following this home upset at the hands of Milan club.

Jaka Bijol – 6/10: The Slovenian played accurate long balls and passes into the final third. While making crucial blocks and interceptions but could not prevent the visitors from scoring three goals.

Souleymane Touré – 5.5/10: Not good enough, he did improve himself in the backline after losing defending Frattesi and letting him finish the chances in the initial minutes of the game.

Midfielders

Kingsley Ehizibue – 6.5/10: Was good with passing and helped out the team in defending made important recoveries, excellent in duels. He did not offer much in attack.

Sandi Lovric – 6/10: Tried to create chances for his side by operating in the midfield with his dribbling and was involved in both attacks and both. He became the first substitution of the match in the 59th minute.

Oier Zarraga – 6.5/10: The Spaniard maintain a 100% record in playing long balls, duels and tackles. Even played two passes into the final third during 86 minutes of game time.

Jesper Karlström – 6.5/10: like his fellow midfield partners, Karlstrom did well in winning duels and long balls. He also made contributions in defence with clearances and blocks

Jordan Zemura – 7/10: Was very much involved in the game on the left flank, and delivered an on-point left-footed cross to find his teammate to score the equaliser in the 3rd minute of added time in the first half.

Florian Thauvin – 6/10: More was expected from the Udinese skipper to create chances for his team and help his co-striker the upfront. He had 0 shots on target in the match.

Keinan Davis – 5.5/10: The English striker did show intent with his run inside the box, afterwards was barely visible in the attack and got subbed off in the 59th minute.

Matteo Darmian – 7/10: Was proactive on the right flank making things difficult for Udinese’s defence with his passing and provided the assist for the opening goal to Fratessi.

Davide Frattesi – 8/10: Scored the early opener courtesy of a delicate finish to Darmian’s through ball to mark the lead for Inter and created problems for the opposition with dribbling and passing.

Hakan Calhanoglu – 7/10: Another standout for Inter, the Turkish midfielder played an instrumental role with his passing and dribbling excellence.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan – 7/10: Often dropped deep connecting the defence with the attack, playing quality passes and showing exceptional vision sitting in the centre of the pitch.

Federico Dimarco-  7/10: Just like Darmian on the right, Dimarco did the same job on the other side of the pitch. Got the assist for the second Inter goal and landed some decent crosses into the box.

Marcus Thuram – 7/10: Played decently in the supporting role for Martinez, displayed excellent hold-up play and provided the assist for the 3rd goal of the Inter in 2nd half.
