India’s Champions Trophy 2025 Squad: Check Full List of Players

The 2025 ICC Champions Trophy will commence on February 19 after all eight participating teams revealed their full 15-member squads. India will participate for their third title run in the tournament which Pakistan and the UAE jointly host after their successful 2002 and 2013 victories. The Men in Blue will work to recover the trophy and extend their position as the top team in white-ball cricket under Rohit Sharma’s direction.

UAE will be the match venue for India owing to the political turmoil between India and Pakistan. A summit clash occurring during the final will be moved to the UAE whenever the team reaches the final stage. Pakistan and New Zealand will open the tournament at Karachi’s National Stadium but India faces Bangladesh during the first match of February 20.

The team will face harsh scrutiny due to Jasprit Bumrah’s selection in India’s main squad for this tournament. Ajit Agarkar declared that team management would check on Bumrah’s condition during the lead-up to the ODI tournament even though the fast bowler was selected in the squad. His presence becomes essential mainly for the knockout periods of competition.

India stands as one of the top contenders to win the trophy due to their squad makeup blending seasoned veterans with upcoming skillful players. Long deliberations between selectors led to the team selection which combined experienced players with both batting and bowling flexibility.

The Champions Trophy division assigned India to Group A together with New Zealand Pakistan and Bangladesh. The team will begin their competition against Bangladesh on Feb.20 before facing Pakistan on Feb.23 with their last match in the group stage against New Zealand.

The Head coach Gautam Gambhir stresses the vital tournament contributions that senior players Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will offer to the team. Before the tournament begins the Indian team dedicates its attention to enhancing their strategies while maintaining top physical condition for all players. India’s ICC Champions Trophy 2025 campaign looks promising because their experienced veteran players join forces with talented young members of the team.

India will generate notable effects in the tournament using their balanced lineup and solid commitment to retake the championship.
